Jiuzhaigou is a world-wide famous nature reserve and national park located in Jiuzhaigou County，Aba Tibetan Autonomous region，Sichuan Province.

黄龙风景区位于四川省阿坝藏族羌族自治州松潘县岷山主峰雪宝顶下。由黄龙本部和牟尼沟两部分组成。“黄龙”之名的由来：黄龙景区中壮观的地表钙华流蜿蜒于原始林海，酷似一条金色巨龙，腾飞天地，故名“黄龙”。黄龙风景区以彩池、雪山、峡谷、森林“四绝”著称于世，是中国唯一的保护完好的高原湿地。黄龙本部包括黄龙沟、丹云和雪栏山峰丛区、红心岩峰丛区及雪宝鼎、雪山梁等，面积600平方千米；牟尼沟部分包括嘎瀑布与二道海景区，面积100平方千米。
Huanglong(Yellow Dragon) scenic area is located in Songpan County, Aba Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture, Sichuan Province. It is composed of Huanglong and Munigou.
The origin of the name Huanglong: the spectacular travertine flow in Huanglong scenic area winds through the primeval forest sea, just like a golden dragon, so it is called "Yellow Dragon", Huanglong.
Huanglong scenic area is world-wide famous for its colorful pool, snow mountain, canyon and forest. It is the only intact protected plateau wetland across China.
Huanglong headquarters includes huanglong valley, Danyun and Xuelan mountain cluster, hongxinyan peak cluster, Xuebao peak and xueshanliang, covering an area of 600 square kilometers; The part of Munigou, covering an area of 100 square kilometers, includes GA waterfall and Erdao lake view area.

Among the various unique and wild scenes of the scenic area, the most eye-catching one is the Huanglong (Yellow Dragon) valley. The valley, located at the foot of the Xuebao Peak, is 3.6 kilometers long and 30-170 meters wide. The section from the Fuyuan Bridge at the entrance to the Yuyu Pond is 3,160-3,574 meters above sea level and its surface is a thick layer of light yellow talc. In the sunshine, the valley looks like a golden dragon winding its way through the forest.
